As of the microbe, its toxins or one

As a youngster, everyone probably remembers themselves going to the doctor and having to get their vaccines. Most likely that was the worst day for them. All I knew was that a sharp needle is going to puncture my skin then out and at the end the mean doctor turns into a nice doctor by giving a lollipop. What else would a child know about vaccines? A vaccine’s main function is to improve immunity to a disease. How? Well, “a vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism, and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins or one of its surface proteins” (Vaccines). The vaccine gets gives the body similar like disease microorganisms so if they get the disease their body wouldn’t react much and all the credit of this should go to Edward Jenner. “The story of modern vaccination begins with Edward Jenner’s development of the vaccine for smallpox, one of the most feared diseases in history” (For Immunization Partners). Smallpox was once a disease that was feared by many but has now disappeared thanks to the invention of vaccines. Today, vaccination has powerfully joined our modern-day medicine and therefore many generations thankfully have escaped from unwanted diseases. Though, in the recent years sadly an anti-vaccine movement has been started and the debate has begun of whether the children should be required to get vaccinated or not. All parents should allow their children to receive full access to vaccinations because it can keep the innocent children healthy, are very safe and most importantly vaccination can protect the future generation.

Getting vaccinated plays, a very important role in keeping the human body healthy. Vaccines give the body strength to fight diseases, and provides support. Children are very sensitive human beings and may catch onto a disease very easily. They don’t have much understanding of what’s happening to their body. To make the children’s life easier, vaccines should be required to keep their little bodies healthy. According to the U.S Department of Health and Human Services, “vaccines have reduced and, in some cases, eliminated many diseases that killed or severely disabled people just a few generations ago” (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services). Like that is just amazing. Thanks to vaccines so many diseases have been vanished and maybe your child could’ve gotten it if it weren’t for the invention of vaccines.  As I said earlier, children are very sensitive beings. During the flu season, many unvaccinated children’s die and their parents should be the ones to be blamed on. The flu vaccine keep kids flu-free. “CDC estimates that flu-related hospitalizations since 2010 ranged from 140,000 to 710,000, while flu-related deaths are estimated to have ranged from 12,000 to 56,000” (Influenza). During the horrible flu season, flu viruses are known to be at very high levels in the United States population. The flu is a very dangerous disease as shown in the statics. If kids don’t get this vaccine then innocent lives may be gone. Another vaccine that can and will keep children healthy is the MMR vaccine. “The MMR vaccine protects against the measles, mumps, and rubella” (Vaccines and Preventable Disease). The symptoms of measles are super dangerous. The symptoms include: fever, rash, cough, runny nose, and watery eyes. It can also cause ear infections, brain swelling pneumonia and even death. A child doesn’t need to go through all that. If your child gets all the vaccines required his or her life will be healthy. What more could a parent want? Therefore, a very positive effect of vaccines is that they help kids fight infectious diseases and help them live healthy.

Another reason for why a child should essentially be vaccinated is that vaccinating your child can save and protect the future. How? Well, “By vaccinating children against rubella (German measles), the risk that pregnant women will pass this virus on to their fetus or newborn has been dramatically decreased, and birth defects associated with that virus no longer are seen in the United States” (Vaccines). If we stay continuing vaccinating now, and vaccinating completely, parents in the future may be able to find that some of the current diseases of today will no longer be to harm their children in the future. Adding on, If the children don’t get vaccinated, it is very possible that they can spread disease to other children who are really too young to be vaccinated or to people with weak immune systems, such as transplant recipients or people with cancer. This could in reality result in long-term complications and even death for some vulnerable people.

The last reason why parents shouldn’t be hesitated at all to vaccinate their child is that vaccines are totally like more than hundred percent safe. “Clinical trials are studies conducted before a vaccine is made available” (Vaccine Safety). The studies are made out by the vaccine manufacturers and their decision help the FDA make decisions about whether if the vaccine is safe super ready to be licensed for use in the hospitals. Most importantly they also check if the vaccine is affective. So, there are should be absolutely no worries at all of vaccines being harmful. In addition, the FDA’s job also includes the responsibility to inspects the exact areas of where vaccines are invented and they also note down whether if the manufacturers are following the strict manufacturing guidelines. There is absolutely no doubt that the United States is currently has the most safest and the most effective vaccine supply in history. “Years of testing are required before a vaccine can be licensed. Once in use, vaccines are continually monitored for safety and efficacy” (Vaccine Safety). Vaccines are being continuously improving and they are safer now than more then ever. Parents need to know that they are reliable and this is all in the best interest of their child in staying safe. Nowadays there are more advances in the medical field that are successful. However, vaccines, like any medication, can cause opposing events. There have been cases in which vaccines have been connected to autism but nonetheless a decision not to immunize a child does indeed also include a lot of risk.

In conclusion, parents do not have the right to stop their kids from receiving vaccines because they are only and only worsening the situation by not getting their kids vaccinated. The world strongly needs vaccines because without them there would be a lot of unnecessary harm. They are highly recommended to stay safe and healthy. The world needs to know the benefits of getting vaccines and the risks you can get if your child doesn’t get them. The main focus is to encourage everyone to consult their doctor on time and get all their child vaccinations. Each year there is a specific list of vaccines that the child should get. You should follow that and make sure to have it done. Just imagine yourself in this situation! Why make a child suffer? Many countries in this world do not have this vaccines resource to help prevent them from getting a disease or sick. You have the effective and safe resources right now so why not take the full advantage of the situation ? If you were in their place wouldn’t you want to get them and knowing the benefits? If people are provided with this resource, then they should take an advantage of it and get the vaccine, so later there will be less chances of harm to you or the future generations. But the message that parents should definitely vaccinate their children, a message that has been seen growing louder and louder in recent weeks or years, doesn’t necessarily seem to be working. We need to get the message effective. Vaccinate your child now. You don’t know now but there is a lot of importance of early childhood development. The emotional, physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and on the adult, they will become. That is why there should be an understanding that the need to invest in very young children is so important, so as to maximize their future well-being. Vaccinating your child will keep them healthy in the future. And if they’re happy then they are emotionally and mentally healthy too. Go vaccinate your child today.
